Raizer Mobile Lifting Chair:
Seeing a loved one in distress and being unable to assist is a horrible feeling. The Raizer Mobile Lifting Chair eases that burden, helping people who have fallen to be up again in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, injuries caused by manually lifting and transferring patients are quite common for caregivers and healthcare staffers. The Raizer is all about "safe patient handling." Instead of people, it's the chair that's used to transfer, move and reposition patients, reducing injuries and accidents. Battery-powered, the Raizer is a mobile lifting chair which raises a fallen person up to an almost standing position. It only needs one person to assemble and operate and requires next to no physical effort from the assistant. Color coded for easy assembly, it works by the assistant assembling the Raizer around the fallen person. No tools are needed as the pieces slide into one another. Items for assembly on the left side are red, while items for the right side are green. Assembly takes only minutes and once done, the chair is raised by using the button on the control panel. If you're worried the chair might be too heavy for you to help, have no fear. The Raizer is easily transported in two bags, each with shoulder straps and handles. One weighs about 20 lbs., the other 9 lbs. and everything needed to aid someone who has fallen is in them. Once assembled, it only takes 20-30 seconds to lift someone by pushing and holding the "Up Arrow" button. To disassemble, simply lower the chair back down. The control panel features large up and down arrows for raising and lowering the chair. Lights on the panel indicate the battery status, the charger status and that the chair is ready for use. A large stop button is also there in case of emergency. Raizer is used in all categories of elderly care facilities, hospitals, public buildings, hotels and recreational buildings. Full charging takes a maximum of 6 hours. Once fully charged, the battery can handle approximately 100 transfers at average weight and approximately 40 transfers at max weight. 2 chargers are supplied with the Raizer, a wall charger and a car charger. It takes 10-15 minutes to charge a depleted battery enough for one lift. The seat has a width of 18.5", is 8" deep and the weight capacity is 330 lbs. In case of an overload of too much weight on the chair (capacity 330.7 lbs.), the chair halts lifting and sounds an alarm. In some cases, fallen persons will be able to assemble the Raizer by themselves and perform the lift. More able wheelchair users can move themselves from the floor to their chair and vice versa. The Raizer is prevented from moving too far up and automatically stops when the person is in a sitting position. Once fully upright, the chair will issue a long beep. Once assembled and ready, the Raizer will switch off automatically if not used for 10 minutes. At the same time, it will also emit a long beep. As the Raizer is not waterproof, cleaning should only be done using a damp cloth.
