Sitting Exercises with the TOGU® Inflatable Ball

Are you sitting down too much and need a little movement? Whether you are at home or in the office, TOGU® inflatable exercise balls are a great way to get you exercising even while sitting. Your body must constantly make micromovements to keep the ball from rolling away as you sit. This makes inflatable ball exercises very effective at strengthening your back muscles while you sit and work. Below are some sitting exercises you can do right now with your TOGU® Inflatable ball:

Upright Posture Exercise

To begin the upright posture exercise, sit on the TOGU® inflatable ball in an upright position. Make sure your feet are shoulder width apart and your chin is up. Then gently bounce on the ball by raising and lowering your heels. There is also a variation of this exercise where you can move your arms up and down, moving with the ball.

Unloading Exercise

Unlike the upright posture exercise, the unloading exercise requires you to use your hands. To begin the upright posture exercise, sit on the TOGU® inflatable ball in an upright position. Make sure your feet are shoulder width apart and your arms are held straight up. Then, use both of your legs to stand up but still using your buttocks to keep in contact with the ball. Then, while keeping your back straight, slowly lower yourself back onto the ball without flopping around.

Sitting ball exercises are very simple and do not require much thought. You can utilize these exercises and more to allow you to effectively work and exercise at the same time. Burning calories, getting stronger and getting tasks done simultaneously is the best way to go through everyday life and an exercise ball can help you do just that.
