This E-Z belt sensor is comprised of a secure metal buckle and a 50"L non-restrictive belt. When connected to a Skil-Care alarm it alerts the caregiver when the belt is opened and the resident is about to leave the chair and automatically resets when the belt is refastened. Because of its E-Z release nature it offers a reminder for the patient to remain in the chair but is not considered a restraint for most residents. The universally sized belt secures to all wheelchairs and is attached to the wheelchair with screws.
