What Can You Do with a Dual-Handle Medicine Ball?

However, do you know what other exercises can you do with a dual-handle medicine ball? Luckily for you, you have come to right article. Below are some exercises you can do with the CanDo® Dual-Handle Medicine Ball:

Russian Twist

With the easy to hold handles of the dual-handle medicine ball, you will be able to do this core exercise with no problem. To start, choose the resistance you are most comfortable using. Then, sit on the floor or a CanDo® mat with your legs out in front of you and knees slightly bent. Next, lean back at a 45-degree angle holding the dual-handle medicine ball up to your chest. Then, twist your body and move the medicine ball to the side. Make sure you are keeping your core engaged as you twist. Do this for 10 and 20 reps per side.

Reaching Romanian Deadlift

The Romanian Deadlift is a great leg exercise the requires balance, core strength and focus. To start, choose the resistance you are most comfortable using. Then, stand on your right leg while holding the dual-handle medicine ball with both hands. Next, lean your body forward and bend your right knee slightly. Pushing your left leg out straight behind you while holding the medicine ball. Make sure you are extending your arms out in front of you and straightening your right leg so that your body resembles a ‘T’ shape. Return to the starting position and do this for several reps before switching to your left leg.

Medicine Ball Thruster

If you want a total body exercise than the Medicine Ball Thruster is for you. As always, to start, choose the resistance you are most comfortable using. Then, hold the dual-handle medicine ball in front of your chest and drop into a squat position. Make sure your knees are bent, your back is straight, and the medicine ball is against your chest. Then, push up straight and stretch your arms up high above your head holding the medicine ball towards the sky. Do this for several reps to really feel the burn.
